This series departs from purely visual forms to explore whether images can directly evoke viewers' primal emotions and associations. We utilized AI image generation tools to create a vast collection of visual materials, from which three images that best represent a continuous "formal metamorphosis" were selected to form a complete visual narrative.

The series is titled "Metamorphosis"—a term that refers both to the transformational life cycle of insects and implies a kind of beauty that transcends convention through the grotesque. The three images progressively evolve, depicting the gradual progression and mutation of life forms within fictional scenarios.

Ultimately, the compelling evolutionary quality of this visual sequence naturally guides viewers to contemplate themes such as "evolutionary theory" and "artificial life." Through this, the work achieves a transition from formal exploration to conceptual expression, demonstrating the potential of visual language itself to provoke deeper reflection.

本系列作品从纯粹的视觉形式出发，探索图像能否直接激发观者的原始情感与联想。我们利用AI图像生成工具创作了大量视觉素材，并从中选取三张最能体现连续“形态蜕变”的图像，组成一个完整的视觉叙事。
