Disinfection process

Through screen printing, we meticulously applied transparent UV ink onto blue-toned washed paper. Once dried, the text became completely concealed, awaiting the act of disinfectant spraying to awaken the dormant memories.

During the experimental process, the moment sodium hypochlorite made contact with the paper, the blank areas gradually faded, allowing the sealed pandemic diaries to emerge frame by frame. Each calendar's development pattern formed a unique texture, shaped by variations in spraying intensity and angle.

This temporal dialogue spanning 1,090 days ultimately materialized into a tangible vessel of collective memory through the changing hues of the paper, the revealing and concealing of text, and the distinct scent of disinfectant. In this chemical reaction, the repeatedly sanitized era found its visible form.

我们通过丝网印刷将透明UV油墨精印于青色水洗纸上，干燥后的文字完全隐匿，唯有消毒水的喷洒能唤醒沉睡的记忆。

在实验过程中，次氯酸钠与纸张接触的瞬间，空白处逐渐褪色，被封印的疫情日记逐帧浮现——每一张日历的显影轨迹都因喷洒力度与角度的差异而形成独一无二的肌理。

这场跨越1090天的时空对话，最终通过纸张的变色、文字的显隐、以及消毒水的气味，凝结成具象的集体记忆载体，让那段被重复消毒的岁月在化学反应中显露。
